Players Bachelor Tipped Cigarettes counter-card featuring a colour photographic image of a man and woman looking away from the camera smiling. There is a second man to the left of the image and the background is of a body of water edged by trees. The central man is wearing a cricket jumper over his shoulders and is holding a cigarette in his left hand. The woman is wearing a blue cardigan and is also holding a cigarette. The man to the left is wearing a red blaczer and school-boy style cap. He appears to be holding a punt or an oar for use on the water. There is an illustration of an open packet of twenty Players Bachelor Tipped Cigarettes super-imposed over the bottom right of the image. Several of the cigarettes are half pulled out. The counter-card has three flaps which can bend at the sides and the bottom. The side panels are light blue and bottom panel is white. Main text reads: Players // BACHELOR // Tipped, Bachelor beat // flavour-blur. Text above and below packaging illustration reads: TWENTY for 3 6 // TEN for 1 9'. Hand-written on reverse: 1960 // I.T.C. 19257 // KINGSWAY PRESS // 14 1/2 X 18'. There is a stand on the reverse. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame. While we aim to keep sizing consistent, exact dimensions may vary slightly due to differences in print size or production requirements, which may result in a variation in the overall size (up to approximately 2.5cm (1"))
