Navy Mixture tobacco, 1924
Players Navy Mixture tobacco pull out counter card. The rear section of this card folds backwards into a table on which are three packs of tobacco. The front section pulls forward and on the left and right hand corners are tins of tobacco. There seems to have been a central section, but this has become detached and the only indication are small pieces of card where the piece was attached to the back section. Over each of the tins is a small, red panel. The left hand panel reads " MILD // STRENGTH // 1/- // PER OZ.". The right hand panel reads " MEDIUM // STRENGTH // 1/- // PER OZ.". The text on the card reads " JOHN PLAYER & SONS, // NOTTINGHAM"
