Navy Cut Medium Cigarettes, 1927
Players Navy Cut Medium cigarettes pull-out counter card depicting a caricature of a rugby player next to a pack of Medium cigarettes. There is an adhesive pad stuck to the front of the card which partially hides the text which reads " W.E. CRAWFORD // TWO GREAT // PLA... ERS". There is slight damage to the surface of the reverse probably due to the removal of adhesive pads. On the reverse is a stand which allows the lower part of the card to pull forward and a label which reads " MARDONS // WINDOW NOVELTIES // EMBOSSED SHOWCARDS / &C, &C // VARNISHERS // GELATINERS & FRAME MAKERS // BRISTOL & LONDON."
