No Name Tobacco with an unparalleled reputation, 1964
Player's No Name Tobacco counter-card featuring a black and white photographic image of a gentleman from the waist up, leaning against a table holding a pipe to his mouth. In the background there is a portrait of a gentleman hanging on the wall. The table the man is leaning on has on it a sculpture of what appears to be a horse and a vase of flowers. The man is wearing an evening jacket with a shirt and tie. He is looking towards the top left of the counter-card. The bottom section of the counter-card features an illustration of a tin of Player's No Name Tobacco on a burgundy background. Text reads: "'No Name'? // Tobacco with an unparalleled reputation". Hand-written on reverse: "APPROX. 1964 // 20452 // 9 1/2 X 15". There is also a stand on the reverse
