No. 3 Cigarettes, 1933

Player's No. 3 cigarettes rectangular counter card. It is slightly padded over a metal frame with a glossy finish. The background is black and the with an old-gold or bronze edge. It depicts a bunch of flame red lilies in a porcelain vase decorated with a chinese dragon. Next to the vase is a porcelain statuette of a parrot. In the bottom left is an open pack of No. 3 cigarettes. The text reads "PLAYER'S No. 3 // THE // EXTRA // QUALITY // CIGARETTE". On the reverse is a support to allow the card to stand upright and a hanging loop. On the support is a hand-written note which reads "Not Bronze". In the top left hand corner is the remains of a circular rubber stamp, probably a proof stamp from Mardon, Son and Hall
