Navy Cut Medium Cigarettes, 1934

Player's Navy Cut Medium cigarettes counter card. The central section is circular, with a blue background with a red edge. To the bottom right and left hand sides are two smaller circles, forming feet or supports for the circle. These are red with a blue edge. Overlaying the right hand side circle is a pack of Navy Cut cigarettes. Protruding, fan-like, from the top of the central circle are five collectors cards featuring cricketers. The cards to the left and right hand sides are normal size, the central card is twice normal size. From left to right, the cricketers are "L G BERRY (LEICESTERSHIRE)", "C J BARNETT (GLOUCESTERSHIRE)", "W R HAMMOND (GLOUCESTERSHIRE)", "A H BAKEWELL (NORTHAMPTONSHIRE)", "L E G AMES (KENT)". The text in the centre of the card reads "Player's // Please". The text in the left hand small circle reads "5 FOR 3D // 10 FOR 6D // 20 FOR 11 1/2D". At the bottom of the card, the text reads "ONE OF THESE CARDS IN EVERY PACK". On the reverse is a support to allow the card to stand upright and a hand-written note which reads "ON LOAN"
